Exclusive footage of the western to premiere at the panel.
Quentin Tarantino and his latest western, The Hateful Eight, are coming to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Tarantino and a handful of unspecified actors will take part in a panel on July 11 at 1:30pm located in Hall H. Hosted by Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead), the director and actors will discuss production of the film, its upcoming roadshow release, and the 70mm format it’ll be released in. Exclusive footage of the film will also be shown during the panel.
The Hateful Eight follows the adventures of eight gunslingers trapped in a frontier weigh station during a snowstorm. The cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Channing Tatum, and Demian Bichir.
The western hits theaters Christmas Day with a limited two week 70mm run, followed by a nationwide digital release on January 8.
