🎮 The RVG Community Challenge — October

[zapiy]

Let's get the RVG community playing!

Every month, we'll pick a simple retro gaming challenge for members to try. No competitions over who has the best collection, no expensive hardware requirements — just an excuse to play some games and have a chat.

### This month's challenge

**Play a retro game you've never played before.**

It could be something you've owned for years but never got around to playing, a game you've discovered through emulation, or something completely new to you.

### Tell us about it!

- **Game:** What did you play?
- **System:** What did you play it on?
- **First impressions:** Was it any good?
- **Verdict:** Will you play it again?

Screenshots, photos and recommendations are welcome!

You don't need to complete the game, and there's no deadline pressure. Just join in whenever you have time.

Let's see what everyone discovers. You might even introduce another member to their next favourite retro game!

Ok I'm in, and I have a game in mind already.

I was reading some of the Halloween reviews and came across Brain Dead 13 for the Jaguar CD. I bought this game years ago and I tested it but never really played it beyond that.

I will report back after I've tried it out.

Great shout, I am still deciding, thinking something Japanese though.

I spent some time this weekend playing Brain Dead 13.

I've never been the biggest Dragon's Lair fan and this game is very similar but I still enjoyed it. The game looks nice and it was fun trying to figure out what to do next. I'll probably try to get to the end some day but I'll definitely use a guide lol.
