I saw your Fignition at RGR in Chelmsford last year and I was really impressed with what you had done!

Carlos

Thanks, I have done a bit more on it since then, I have stuff on my youtube channel about it.

Getting to grips with fourth, and can see how a lot of the early VCS games may have used similar techniques to make games.

I have made a full keyboard for mine now!

Oh wow I will have to take a look!

Here is the latest effort for my FIG, it is a very simple game, there is room to make udgs, but I wanted to keep it simple.

You use keys to go up down left or right, each move randomly prints a solid block on the screen either to the left or right, up or down of your block, you have to see how many moves you can make before you block yourself in!.

I saw this on FB, great work mate!

Its actually the kind of thing I wouldn't mind dabbling with as I have made loads of games in BASIC over the years.

Carlos

:) thanks for the like!

Fourth is easier to write in than BASIC, I would imagine you would be very good at this sort of thing laird.

I've actually built mine. But I got a bit bored during testing and actually haven't finished yet ... also my Raspberry Pi has arrived so I've been fiddling with that instead!

Carlos

well done!

If you are still testing the connections, you are being thorough! I just plugged mine in and it worked.

Well done on getting a Pi, luckier than me.

The FIG article in the recent min-mag went down incredibly well.
