In case anyone is interested in acquiring an AtariVox+ (compatible with the 2600, 7800, and Vectrex), here is a message that the.golden.ax posted today.  You can order by emailing him directly even if you're not on AA.

OK all, time to confirm your interest.  Here is a message that was sent out by the.golden.ax:

AtariVox+ will be available soon. (Estimated 2 - 4 weeks from today.)

This mass PM is being sent because you expressed interest in this some point.
(A reply to this message is needed to ensure your item(s) are set aside for you)
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR MONEY - JUST CONTINUED INTEREST.

This first run will be limited to approximately 50 units.
The basic AtariVox+ includes a clear box/cover, instruction sheet, and
Vox+ in black shell with label. (With more options below - keep reading)

Features:
Phonetic speech, preset sounds, five channel music synth, and memory.
The 32K memory stores game saves and high scores for titles that support the feature.
Compatibility with both Atari and Vectrex game consoles via dip switch settings.

Note: The AtariVox+ installs directly in to the 2600, but requires a extension cable
for use with the 7800, and a MODIFIED cable for use with the Vectrx.

Once these units are ready to ship immediately, I would like to be able to send paypal
invoices out to people based on their desired order at that time.

(Note Extension Cables are limited quantity and are only availalbe 1:1 per Vox+ order)
The prices factor the increased shipping cost / time to modify the cable.

Non-amplified PAIR of 3" PC Speakers (sorry no Canada or International sales for this) $10
(Note speakers are limited quantity and are only available one set, per order)

Sounds like a cool little project. As far as the 7800 goes it seems very similar to the XM Module. Does this do anything the XM wont or is it just a cheaper version? My 7800 should arrive today or tomorrow so I have to keep an eye on this stuff now
